Go on and visit the studio of APFEL. You’ll find some highly conceptual work with an aesthetic that just fits right for the content.


He started designed type at 15 and was recently named one of Print Magazine’s top 20 young artists under 30. He’s worked with Eric Spiekermann, Christian Schwartz, Jonathan Hoefler, and Tobias Frere-Jones. He’s an adjunct professor at Parsons. I don’t know where he finds the time to design all these amazing typefaces. Have a look at some of his type here.
