The Consult

The Consult

The Consult furthers the stereotype I have of English design, and that’s not a bad thing at all. From Leeds, this studio shows a small, albeit very tight sample of its work, on a website with an equally no-frills approach. The result conveys the honesty with which it is apparent this firm approaches its clients’ projects.

By way of Brooklyn, NY comes Studio Von Birken. I’ve always liked the JanouPakter ads I noticed in I.D. magazine. There style has an aura of glam and luxury associated with it.

All sorts of goodies here at Seattle’s General Public. I’m diggin the site’s layout and illustrations. The work is a great sampling of different mediums and media from an interesting cross-section of clients. On the whole, everything is well put together.

Baltimore super-studio, and sex-symbol extraordinaires, Flush (that’s us for those of you at home) have redesigned, and relaunched with some new work. We’re proud of the new site, but always insatiable, so be on the look out for some updates, new projects, and some changes in store here at DNFTF in the not too distant future.

Friday the 13th is pretty spooky. One of the scariest movies I remember watching was Leprechaun (the sequels were questionable, at best, especially Leprechaun VI, Leprechaun in the Hood), which brings us to our next profile: Irish super-studio Image Now. Part consultancy, part gallery, they seem to pull off both pretty well. From the poster pictured above charting all punched landed between Muhammed Ali and George Foreman’s epic battle in Zaire (available at Blanka) to the Josef Müller Brockmann exhibition they had running at their gallery space, their work just oozes refinement.
