Farfar is an interactive shop in Sweden. They put out some really great concepts; you might be familiar with Pjotro from Nokia, among other campaigns in their portfolio. While I don’t care for the firm’s emphasis on their award wins, the work is solid and imaginative and the site is easy to navigate.
Dustin Arnold
Exquisite work and attention to detail. This is a must see.
Saturday
Saturday has to be one of my most favorite portfolio sites for the sheer inventiveness of the site’s super-simple interface. They’ve recently updated with some new work as well, always worth a look.
Lava
Welcome back.
Lava is a multi-disciplinary firm from Amsterdam.
The Little Friends of Printmaking
A husband and wife duo. Silk-screening. Wisconsin. Guess any of these, and you’d be talking about The Little Friends of Printmaking. They’ve got some great posters for sale as well.
Dope Pope
dopepope is NYC based artist/designer/illustrator/weird-thought-havin’ Joe Lucchese. The above work is taken from his newly released book, Bioengineered to be the Best. He’s in the midst of updating his site, but the galleries are still up. Hide the children!
Zero G
Zero G is Ciarán Ógaora’s studio in Dublin. The shop’s got all sorts of great work to take a look at. Personally, I enjoy the Letter from Greg videos.
Alvin Lustig
Hop in the time machine and take a trip to a simpler era in America. Alvin Lustig, however was far from a simple man. From architecture to advertising, industrial design to graphic design, Alvin did it all, and did it quite well.
